Panthers and other football notes

Well, first off I'm a Panthers fan stuck in North Louisiana, I'll eventually get around to how that came to be, but for now, I just have to vent on  today's game.  Cam Newton is a freak, and once he's able to harness his freak-ness, he's going to set the NFL world on fire, he does things that no other QB can do in this league.  I'll already go out on a limb and say he's the most exciting player in the NFL, and next season, the Panthers will have at least two Prime-Time games, possibly three, he's that entertaining.  Now to the game, the Panthers had that game in the bag, unfortunately their defense loves to impersonate the Invisible Man for three quarters a game, repeatedly gave up easy play after easy play.  I equate watching the Panthers on defense to watching C-SPAN for three hours, just a bunch of boring crap that you know the result will not be good.  Also, I was up before Sunday morning with my bookie, but unfortunately I took the advice of Walterfootball.com and took the games he liked this Sunday, and so far, he and I are 0-6, leaving me with a negative balance, whooopiee...  Hopefully I can make up for it with the Eagles +6, and a couple prop bets, VY under 17.5 completions, and LeSean rushing/receiving 25+ more yard than Brandon Jacobs. Crossing my fingers..  Got to get back to watching this game
